Stoa of Nero  locates on east of Commercial Agora. It was built in 1. Centry AD. Stoa of Nero was a basilica form and the basilica was extending on Marble Street for 150 meters and had two naves. The building of Ephesus City was dedicated to important people of history. One of them was The Stoa of Nero.  The building was called Stoa of Nero because it is written in the sourches that  ‘Nero and his mother Agrippina and the people of Ephesus’.

Stoa of Nero had a terrace wall facing  Marble Street was 1.70 m above Street level. Main enterence of the building was from the stairs in front of Celsus Library. Stoa of Nero was completely demolished and it’s material was totally recycled. So there is not much to restore.
